Opens: Sept., Family orientation will be held just before the first day of school. (TBA)

Hours: Same as current preschool. Extended care available, 7am - 5:30pm.

Registration: $100 (Non-refundable unless on waiting list) for 08-09 school year

Ratio: Class size up to 10 (full day): Teacher

Class size 10 to 20 (full day): Teacher plus Assistant

Curriculum: Mix of teacher-guided learning activities and self-directed learning through dramatic play, discovery centers, and outdoor play. Activities that support pre-reading skills, as well as pre-math and science will be part of each weekly plan. Rest time will be provided for all children; those who need to may nap, others may rest or have quiet play time. There will be opportunities for large and small group, as well as individual activities.

Discipline: Redirecting the child to another activity or behavior that’s more appropriate, or briefly removing the child from the activity or situation to recompose him/herself before rejoining the activity. No corporal punishment, shouting at or shaming the child. Please refer to our Student handbook.

Potty Training: Child must be reliably trained before entering preschool. Potty accidents are treated in a matter-of-fact way and the child is helped to change into the change of clothing provided by the family.

Hot Lunch: Available for full day students; provided through our lunch program at an extra fee. (click here)
